This is a book for the one discipling, or the one being discipled; this book is a message of encouragement for anyone who is in a spiritual rut. Sometimes we wonder what we were created for, and why God has the obstacle that He does before us, and this is another testament to Lucado’s motivating and honest writing skills. Lucado uses stories to illustrate how we are to be beacons of light for the Lord — and there’s a serious problem if we can’t knuckle-down and press through the toughness of life to spur others on through their trials.
Whatever you did for the least of these, you did for me (Mt. 25:40).
