The Story Telling God by Jared Wilson was a welcome look into the parables of Scripture. Parables by their very nature are often viewed in a similar vain as Aesop’s Fables or proverbs, as tales with a hint of wisdom or moral attached.
Wilson encourages readers to dig deeper into the parables of Scripture. Since the parables were Jesus primary teaching method, he postalizes that there exists more wisdom within these passages than we typically give them credit for.
