I had trouble starting the Façade because do not buy into the whole extraterrestrial hoopla. In short, there is enough stuff to worry about under the clouds that I don’t see the use in daydreaming about stuff beyond our broken world. Many are probably turned off to this post as soon as they see the image of a UFO or the “fiction” tag that myself and the author have designated this book. Well, not so fast. I get that this is a fictional story about some militants and UFO’s and all that top secret jazz. I am not a fiction reader. So, I don’t dig the UFO talk that The Façade Saga is laced and I’m not an avid fiction reader … why did I give this book a shot? Honestly, the initial reason was because I was gifted the book — but I’m glad I got it started and let me tell you why.
The Façade Saga
The Façade Saga at its core, and I think that Heiser and his team at Kirkdale Press would resonate with this point, is a message that discusses presuppositions. Heiser’s passion for the hidden world of extraterrestrial has allowed him to set up a fun, engaging story for readers. Dr. Scott thinks that the life in front of him is all that he’s got — is all that there is. As the helicopters on the cover allude to, this escalate quickly as a top secret mission is initiated. What’s the most fun piece of fictional piece? The resources that the mission dig into and refer to are all real and Heiser has made it a point to outline a lengthy bibliography to keep us doubters, like Dr. Scott originally, in check.
It’s a fun book, and series, that will keep your attention acute and your imagination spinning.
